Why
Exists

FULLRIDE

College breaks are predictable.
The challenge of getting home shouldn’t be.

For many students - especially those without cars - break travel is expensive, inconvenient, or uncertain. The systems around it were never designed with students in mind.

We exist to change that.

The Problem, Experienced Firsthand

I’m a college student without a car. When breaks arrive, my options are limited.

Having my parents pick me up takes an entire day out of their schedule. Flying is often too expensive, and even reaching the nearest airport requires extra travel. That usually leaves the bus - crowded, uncomfortable, and far from ideal.

At the same time, many upperclassmen are already driving home to the same places, often alone.

The problem isn’t willingness. It’s organization.

A System that already worked

Before apps, students solved this with bulletin boards.

People posted where they were going and when. Others called, coordinated, and rode together. It worked because it was simple and local.

That system didn’t disappear because it stopped making sense. It disappeared because student behavior moved to phones.

Fullride brings that same idea forward - designed for how students live today.

Rebuilding it... CAREFULLY

Fullride organizes student carpooling using modern tools, clear expectations, and shared responsibility.

The goal isn’t disruption.

It’s structure.

We’re starting at Purdue, building trust through real use, and expanding only when the foundation is solid.

Built to last

Fullride is being built with care and long-term responsibility in mind.

Trust matters more than speed.
Safety matters more than growth.

Getting this right matters more than getting it fast.
